Rolex started in 1905 with the name ‘Wilsdorf and Davis’ in London, and later moved their offices to Switzerland and trademarked the name Rolex for their company. They were the first to invent Water proof watch cases, watches with a date on the dial, show 2 timezones, the first ever to get the chronometer certification for their watch. They were first to develop Quartz movement and patented the first self-winding watch. Rolex is also the largest luxury watch brand and top amongst all watch makers.
